Volunteers:

Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the staff, students, and programs of the Schuylkill Valley School District, and we are very thankful that you have expressed an interest in volunteering in this district.  Please click on the link below for more information:

Once all clearance documentation has been obtained and sent to Human Resources, the volunteer must be approved by the Board of Directors prior to volunteering in the school. Please check the SVSD website (Clearances – Approved Volunteers) to see if your name appears there as an approved volunteer.

• BoxTops: If you’ve got a smartphone, you can now scan your BoxTops  receipts to earn money for Schuylkill Valley instead of having to clip-and-send. Visit the site below for more details or simply download the App from your app store and get earning!

• Redner’s: Use your Redner’s Rewards card at any Redner’s every time you shop.  Please send in your entire receipt, including the name of the store, the purchases and your Save-A-Tape total.  The store will donate 1% of your eligible purchases to the SV Middle School. If you need a Rewards card, go to customer service to sign up.

Fundraising Events & Activities 2023

Bid to Build a Better Tomorrow with SVMSPTO is a biannual online silent auction. There is a online Facebook group that it is run through just do a search for the name and answer the questions. We are still looking for donations of item, tickets, baskets and anything else that could be auctions. The auction will be running 5/22-5/26/23 any questions or donations reach out to a PTO member.

Rutter’s coupon books -These books are $10 each and come with coupons for over $30 in free or reduced price items. Order forms can be download from our Facebook page or website https://schuylkill-valley-middle-school-pto.square.site/ and turned into the school through the end of the year. One check should be sent along as well written to SVMSPTO. A PTO member will contact you to make arrangements to deliver books. We will also have books on hand during all meetings and events through the end of the school year.

R-Phils– The PTO is participating in the R-Phils ticketbook fundraiser! Please help us out by purchasing a book of 6 tickets to any of their 2023 regular season home games! Their price per ticket is normally $11 but if you buy a book from us it comes out to only $7 a ticket! Plus, at least $14 from your purchase will go to Schuylkill Valley Middle School PTO!

It’s a really easy process- just visit https://bit.ly/3FPx4pA to purchase the $42 fundraising ticket book. Like I said, the ticket books have 6 undated general admission tickets in them that may be used in any combination for any 2023 regular season home game!

Once you’re on the site follow this outline:

  1. Find Schuylkill Valley Middle School PTO for the “Organization Name” from the alphabetized organization list
  2. Click Special Offer Only Next to the our Organization
  3. Under Package Quantity enter how many ticket books you would like
  4. Continue and then Select Your Delivery Option (Print at Home, Will-Call, Or USPS)
  5. If you already have a Ticket Return Account then enter information, if not then enter information under ‘Create Account’ and follow Check Out process

Additionally you may print out a order form and gather orders from those who don’t do online shopping! Kids can also pick up forms at the MS office as well as find the order form available for download on the PTO page!

Uncle Paul’s Stuffed Pretzel Food Truck– We are very pleased to announce we will be teaming up with Uncle Paul’s Stuffed Pretzels for our next food truck event. An event page has been created find it on Facebook! We will have 3 types of pretzels as well as frozen lemonade. The event will take place 5/19/23 pick up will be from 4-7pm at the Redner’s Market Leesport! We would prefer to have advance ordering so we don’t run out of product, please find the link to purchase on our Website or on our Facebook page.

PTO MEETINGS

Help us plan our activities and fundraisers, find out what we are doing and how you can help or participate. Parents, Caregivers, Teachers and Staff are welcome!
Meetings will be held in the LGI room.
The door at the courtyard will be open.
For convenience park on the Ontelaunee Drive side of the school at the basketball hoop and enter through the Courtyard gate.
